Since 《Transformers》is released on 2007.07.03, it did huge business at the box office, the toy merchandising sales for that film was out of Hasbro’s expectations. 12 Cool Tips and Tricks for iMovie ’11

iLife ’11 is here, and with it comes a host of slick new features for iMovie, including a simple way to create your own Movie Trailers, all-new audio editing, one-step Effects, People Finder and Sports & News Themes. But those are just the marquee features to get everyone excited -- what about the smaller details that might make your daily use of iMovie ’11 a real pleasure?

Thankfully, your faithful friends at MacLife.com have torn the shrink wrap off a copy of iLife ’11 and put the new iMovie under the microscope, looking for the little things that Apple might not consider show-stopping features, but that both new and veteran users alike might appreciate.

Get Your Touch On
Apple may not feel that touchscreen computers are in its future, but they aren’t shy about adding multitouch gestures to their desktop apps for laptop users and those of us rocking a Magic Trackpad. iMovie ’11 is no exception, and features a trio of such gestures.

The first multitouch tip enables adding new media to your Project, which is done by first selecting a clip (or portion of a clip) in the Event browser and then using three fingers to swipe up on the trackpad. Just like magic, your selection is now added to the end of your project.

How To Rotate Videos using Windows Movie Maker

While taking still photos using cameras and mobiles, we rotate the device between landscape and portrait mode to get the best from the scene. While viewing on the camera, we can easily tilt the device and view the photos correctly but when we transfer it to computer, we have to rotate them for the best experience.
Sometimes while shooting videos people make a mistake of shooting them in portrait mode and when they transfer them to computer, watching them is literally a pain in the neck. Well, the good news is that rotating videos is as easy as rotating a photo, you just need to use the right tool.
Rotating Videos
To rotate a video open Window Movie Maker and import a video to it. The video will be analyzed and expanded in the timeline view. Now all you need to do is select the video and press the rotate button located on the toolbar. You can rotate the video to left or to right. Clicking a mode twice will turn the video upside down.
Now that was how you can rotate the full video.

Choosing how you’re seen on YouTube

Maybe you’ve outgrown that username cutepuppies99, which seemed like such a good idea at the time. Or perhaps your friends are missing out on your mad origami skills, because they don’t know you are the genius behind origamiboy1981.

Starting today we’re giving you the ability to change how you appear on YouTube, with the option to use your Google+ profile on your YouTube channel. One Google-wide identity was something that proved popular with new YouTube users when we began offering it in March, so we are now extending it to existing users.

This is your identity, so you’re in the driver’s seat. First off, your name. If you are currently YouTube user joeysam87, you can now appear as Joey Samson, the full name from your Google+ profile (with an actual space in the middle!), along with any photo you uploaded:

Next step, your past activity. Maybe you posted a few things way back (all those “I love you Biebs!!” comments?) that you’d rather not associate with publicly. By clicking “Review my content,” you can see every video, comment or playlist you’ve ever posted, and decide whether you want it associated with your full name before making the change:

Edit your videos with YouTube

Until now, when you uploaded to YouTube, your video was hosted and shared, but couldn’t really be changed. If you wanted to trim off the end, swap out the soundtrack, or add an effect, you had to edit your video using a separate program and upload again.

Starting today, you can edit your uploaded videos right on YouTube and maintain the same video IDs. This means you keep your view count and comments, and all existing links to your video will continue to work. No re-uploading necessary!

Here’s how it works: just click Edit video on the video’s page or on your My Videos page:

You can stabilize your hand-held footage, rotate a video, and boost the contrast and colors. Try “I’m Feeling Lucky” for 1-click color correction:

How to Use Windows Movie Maker As a Video Cutter

Windows Movie Maker is an excellent tool to work on videos and the best part is that it’s free! Obviously, you can’t compare it to the advanced tools like Sony Vegas or Adobe Movie Maker but if you are looking for some basic, in fact more than just basic video editing then Windows Movie Maker will not disappoint you.

Previously we have discussed how you can quickly create a movie from your photos using the Movie Maker tool and today I will tell you another out of the box idea that you can use the movie maker for: using it as a video cutter.

So lets see how you can use the Movie Maker as a video cutter to cut out a segment from any video. You know that movie scene you always want to play repeatedly or that part of the speech in a talk. Better to separate them in a separate video file so that you could play and share them easily no?

Before you start, make sure you have all the necessary video codecs installed on your system. If you don’t have them, then I recommend you to install K-Lite media codecs before you continue any further.

Here we go.

Step 1: Launch Windows Movie Maker and click on Click here to browse for videos and photos to browse and add the video you want to cut. You can also drag and drop your video to add it.

How to Burn My HD Titanic Video into Blu-Ray

I remember I saw the movie 《Titanic》when I was in middle school age. And still remember the sad ending in which jack sacrificed himself for his lover rose by letting her stay on the only saving life floating board. They just knew each other on the ship for a short time, but fell in love quickly. I have to say such great love. Their love arrives at forever. These below are some wallpapers about Titanic I collected. They are some classic pictures in the movie.

How To Watermark Your Videos In Windows Movie Maker

If you’ve always been fascinated by how well some YouTube videos or commercials turn out that you wish to make some of your own, why not try Windows Movie Maker to warm up your video-making skills? Lots of YouTube gurus seem be doing so. Authoring your own videos can be fun and time-consuming at the same time, so if you want to protect your work, make it more distinguishable and even professional, you should consider adding your signature.

I certainly wish I did back when I fansubbed a music piece with some (as I was told later) metaphorically incorrect translations and later laughed when I saw the exact same, incorrect lyrics I had spent hours researching for in another similar video. As you can tell, there’s no real harm in spending a few more minutes protecting your work. It may even get you more motivated when you see your own logo in your videos that you’ll continue making videos!

So before we start with the tutorial, note that the first part of the tutorial focuses on adding simple text-based watermarks, and for the second part, we’ll add an image watermark or logo into our video using the code from some brilliant users at the Movie Maker Forums.

Adding A Text Watermark
If you want a simple text watermark, not a logo, of your username or name in the lower portion of your video, you can get started right away with one of the built-in Titles.
First, start up Windows Movie Maker. Press Ctrl + I (or click on Videos under Import in the left sidebar) to import your video from your computer.
Drag your video to the timeline. Click on Title and credits under Edit in the left sidebar and then, click on Title on the selected clip.

How to open or save Windows Movie Maker or MSWMM files?

As the beginner of Windows Movie Maker, you may come across various problems when using it, such as how to open .mswmm files, save Windows Movie Maker to WMV or how to import your source file into the Movie Maker, etc. In the article, I would like to show the detailed tips on using the Windows Movie Maker.

First comes to MSWMM files:
Some users may be confused about why the .mswmm can’t be uploaded upon YouTube. In fact, the .mswmm file is project file, rather than Windows Movie Maker video, but the project file. So before sending the video to YouTube, you should save the movie as .wmv or .avi video file type.

Part 1: How to open or import video to Movie Maker:

1.Run the Movie Maker program.

2.On the File menu, you can choose Import into Collections or Import Media Items. Make your selection and then click Import. Also you can directly add .mswmm project file into the software.

3.Drag the video to the storyboard at the bottom of the window.
Now, you can effortlessly edit your video in Movie Maker. When you finish the editing job, you can follow the Part 2 to save it.

Capture Video with Windows Movie Maker

This page shows how to record a simple video clip of yourself speaking. We are using Windows Movie Maker because it is very simple and most people have it installed. The same basic process can be used with most capture software.

Windows Movie Maker is a video-making tool which comes free with Microsoft Windows. It is not exactly a feature-rich application but it is well-suited to simple tasks such as creating video to send with emails, which is what this page covers.

Remember to make sure your camera and microphone are connected to the computer (and turned on if necessary).
The screenshot on the right shows the Windows Movie Maker main screen. To begin, clickCapture Video in the left menu, then click Capture from video device.

The "Video Capture Wizard" window opens.

If your camera is correctly installed it will appear in the "Available devices" area of the window. Click the camera to select it.

At this stage you also need to test the audio. Make sure the correct microphone is selected and speak into it — you should see the meter level fluctuate as you talk.

8 Video Editing Tips To Save You Time

Don’t be scared of editing. Just jump in and do your best. As long as you remember to save the original file you’ll have no problem! Even without a lot of video editing experience, anyone can create a professional-looking video if they just follow the right principles. Before long you’ll be an editing pro!

Video Editing Checklist

1. Start with the End in Mind
Have a mental image of how you want your finished video to look, before you shoot any video. This will help a lot in deciding what shots to take and what shots not to take. It’ll help you determine what kind of equipment you need, what kind of assistance you need and it’ll help you set your budget. By knowing exactly what you want in the end, you’ll avoid the all-too-common problem of not having one shot and having to get all the equipment out again just to take that one shot. Sometimes when that happens the whole video get scrapped because we’ve run out of time.
2. Learn the Basics of Shooting Video
No matter how good your editing is, you can’t make shoddy film look like great film. One of the “secrets” to video editing is starting with good footage to begin with. While you don’t need to take a 6-month course in cinematography, it can really help to read up on the basics of how to hold a camera, how to pan a camera, different angles you can use, and how to take different kinds of shots.
3. Don’t Use Too Many Transitions
One beginner mistake is to use too many different kinds of transitions, especially flashy ones. Airplanes flying in and wiping out the screen, the first scene exploding into the second scene, etc. are effects that can be used occasionally. Your videos will actually look a lot more professional if you just used crossfades, fade-to-black or fade-to-whites. The simple cut is still the most used transition. Pick one and stick to it.

Listen to Katy Perry - Wide Awake

   I'm wide awake
And now it's clear to me
That everything you see
Ain't always what it seems
I'm wide awake
Yeah, I was dreaming for so long

(Pre-Chorus)
I wish I knew then
What I know now
Wouldn't dive in
Wouldn't bow down
Gravity hurts
You made it so sweet
Till I woke up on
On the concrete
(Chorus)
Falling from cloud 9
Crashing from the high
I'm letting go tonight
(Yeah I'm) Falling from cloud 9

10 BEST MOVIES OF 2012 (SO FAR)

20th Century Fox/Marvel Studios/Focus/Lionsgate/Open Road Films

The best movies of 2012?! I don't want to freak you out, but 2012 is half over. Wait, that's pessimistic! 2012 has half-begun! Wait, that makes no sense.
Either way, you catch my drift, the year is at its midway point and that means it has been six months since I've made a critical top 10 list – and I'm starting to twitch. To that end, I'm taking this opportunity to count down my 10 favorite movies of the first half of 2012, hence this early Best Movies of 2012 list.
I'm presenting this for a few reasons. One is that I'm curious to see how much this list changes by the end of the year. Will 'The Master,' 'Argo,' 'The Hobbit,' 'The Dark Knight Rises,' 'Prometheus,' 'Django Unchained,' 'Cloud Atlas' and others radically alter my picks? Also, I am getting this out in the open now so I can steel myself for the hackles of not having 'The Raid: Redemption' on my list in December. I liked the movie a lot, but it didn't stick with me. Just being honest.

Top 10 summer music songs on youtube from the billboard rock this summer

We are in the summer now, yes, the hot summer. Some one may go to have a swim in the pool; some one may go to the beach for surfing; some one may go to a tour for relax, or whatever, but I am pretty sure if you are music lover, you would take the music with you wherever you are. Microsoft's Surface will not success

Before Microsoft’ Surface go to market, people get high expectation from it. Many people believe that Microsoft will be stronger than ipad. A lot information says that Microsoft’s surface will not kill iPad soon. This is not the first time that Microsoft challenge Apple, but finally still fails.

There are several main reasons to explain why. But two most important ones:

A lot people are attracted by Microsoft’s surface, which apple can’t reach this. There is no doubt that people are satisfied with iPad, although it’s not mean to take place of notebook. People take it as the additional one in life. From this, people’s idea for needs on products differs. Microsoft tries to take place of tablets and laptop, which leads to none of them.

Microsoft’s surface sells at 600 dollars. You can think:Why would people a product with disadvantages, but not iPad 2? It’s not only cheaper, but with high quality. Even new iPad just needs 500 dollars, this is great for consumers. Kindle Fire is 200 dollars, it’s enough for itself. Microsoft will not win this price battle.

Microsoft only sells its surface at its stores. What’s more, the battery runs a short time compared with other tablets. Consumers don’t think that Microsoft is a great and fashion brand. The only advantage is that Surface get a super keyboard that others can’t pass

If Microsoft don’t sell tablets, it will not inspire the hesitated developer to develop their own windows tablets. If they don’t continue to develop tablets, Apple will rule the markets.

Not only We believe that Ipad is a danger to windows. If not afraid of Apple , Microsoft will not take quick action to establish its hardware.

Apple continues to complete with Microsoft. They are strong competitors, and get stronger at the competition, making great technology products. What will it be like if one falls down?

Video game review: Plague Inc.

LOVED IT: Surprisingly realistic presentation, good balance between humor and macabre tone, easy to get into and hard to put down
HATED IT: Too much watching instead of playing, user doesn't receive enough information, DNA points feel random
GRAB IT IF: You enjoy management games

Eradicating the human race has never been so much fun.
Welcome to Plague Inc., the iOS game that tasks you with developing a virus — or bacteria or fungus or other humanity-infecting phenomenon — into the scourge of humanity.
Morbid? Sure. But developer Ndemic Creations manages to make its disgusting premise painfully addictive, blending just enough humorous touches into a stunningly deep and realistic model of planet Earth.
The depth of Plague Inc. exceeds its bare-bones presentation. You'll spend most of your time staring at a simple world map, watching tiny airplanes and boats move about. The game begins when you tap on a country — any one of your choosing — and this is where your virus begins.
As days become weeks and weeks become months and months become years, you acquire DNA points, which are used to add characteristics to your virus. You may adjust its symptoms so it drives the infected insane, give it a biological shell to protect against cold climates, even let it be transmitted by birds or rats.
However you develop your plague, you must do it carefully, because eradicating humanity is far more challenging than it may look. First and foremost (at least I think), your virus must spread, infecting millions, then billions. But it must do so at a careful pace; infect too many and the world will take notice, eventually taking steps to work on a cure.
Eventually, the disease must kill, but again, you must balance mass biological murder carefully, for fear of killing all your hosts before the entire world has been infected or cured.
It all takes place in a well-modeled world. Your virus won't conquer the earth in a year, or two or three; like the maladies plaguing us now, you must take your time. And as you build your silent killer, you see the world change, see Sarah Palin take over as an emergency President in the U.S., see the London Olympics shifted, see 4-D movies hit theaters (by 2013, actually). Such little touches add slight levity to a game with a dark soundtrack and a murderous theme.
It's all incredibly hard to put down, despite a handful of flaws. All too often, Plague Inc. doesn't give you enough information to build properly. Instead of providing in-depth data on how countries are working toward a cure, you get only a percentage saying how close the cure is to completion.
And while you can evolve some interesting symptoms — everything from sores to insanity to vomiting — you barely see truly personalized results. Your disease's success is still simply represented by a death toll and a rundown on who has been infected.
But these are all correctable problems, and Ndemic continues to work to make this game better; it just added such things as global warming in version 1.2 and has hinted at more improvements (including, yup, zombies).
Until then — or until Plague Inc. evolves into the next iOS title to wind up as a console downloadable — Plague Inc. will keep infecting tablets and iPhones.
And it's worth letting it infect yours, too.
